Support has ended. Does Windows 10 still make sense?
Yes, if your PC can’t run Windows 11 or you use software that needs Windows 10. This key activates Windows 10 and it keeps working, but it gets no standard security updates; if your hardware allows it, choose the Windows 11 license key.
How do online and phone activation work?
Enter the key under Settings → Update & Security → Activation → Change product key; for online options, that’s it. For phone options, then type slui 4 in Run (Windows + R) and choose your country, call the number shown, give the Installation ID to the automated line and enter the Confirmation ID you get back. It takes a few minutes; if you’d rather skip that, choose an online option.
What does the Home → Pro upgrade key do?
It switches a Home installation to Pro without a reinstall, but it does not activate Windows on its own: after the upgrade you need a valid Pro key, which is bought separately.
Which installation does the key work on?
A Home key activates Home and a Pro key activates Pro; your edition is shown under Settings → System → About. This item is for Windows 10; for Windows 11, choose the Windows 11 license key in our store.
What does the guarantee cover?
